Our Challenge Why

During my Yoga and Ayurveda education, it has become very clear that how we start our day is vital to our wellbeing. Waking up before sunrise and taking time to connect to our bodies, our breath and our minds can help us to approach each day in a more centered and balanced state.

This challenge is designed to give us a head-start into making Yoga and Meditation a consistent part of our morning routines. .

Yoga Asana

Each session will include a short (15-20 minute) yoga asana practice at a gentle to moderate intensity (with maybe just slightly higher intensity movements sprinkled in). This movement practice will be designed to get us ready to sit for breath-work and meditation.

Pranayama

A brief Pranayama practice will follow the movement of yoga in preparation for the meditation. A few different breath-work practices will be introduced throughout the challenge.

Meditation

Each practice will end with a brief meditation and/or Savsana with the opportunity to continue your practice once the Zoom session is over.
